Amanda's story
Compassionate Care Group has been a deeply personal journey for me, rooted in my own experiences and fuelled by a desire to bring about positive change. From my early days working in residential homes, nursing homes, and home care services since the age of 15, I've witnessed things done very well, but have also seen a lot of things done badly!
At the age of 19, I took on the role of caring for my own mother, who was battling cancer, with the assistance of a domiciliary care agency. This experience profoundly highlighted the vulnerability of a loved one and emphasised the critical importance of quality care. Now, as I build my team, I ensure that each member is someone I would trust implicitly to care for my own mother.
Compassionate Care Group has evolved significantly, growing to over 230 dedicated staff members. We've embarked on an exciting journey of growth, extending the reach of Compassionate Care Group across the North West and East of England.
Opening new services isn't just about geographical expansion; it's a testament to our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the communities we serve. Whether it's through innovative programs, specialised care initiatives, or community partnerships, our goal is to enhance the overall well-being of individuals and foster a sense of inclusivity.
